How does firefox differs for Windows and Ubuntu? (Linux)..



     Have you ever moved from windows into ubuntu and felt cheated at first?Well Yeah..I too felt cheated at first.But the fact is that i cannot develop a new browser and release on behalf of the Mozilla Foundation. Yeah, I know where I will end up by doing this. :P


    You can find the differences in the UI,Options and Interfaces.For example you cannot import passwords from other browsers into firefox in ubuntu where as that can be done easily in windows. this list goes on. To keep this list in tact,just avoiding some long sentences.

    Anyway coming to the point,if you are heavy widows user and suddenly switching to Ubuntu , you will feel this.The Developers Team of course would not like to keep this way too. But  WHY?

      One of the main the reason is,of course,obvious.They have to develop separately for each platforms.They need to fuel their team.Unfortunately that demands money.Other technical factors plays a role ,but they can be solved if they can able to fuel a good team.



 


     If they wish to keep fueling then they need to reach more audience.So from the chart you can find where you can find more audience. This not only serves for monetary benefits but also for  their promotion purpose. And engage new users and keep the existing users. 
     
   Obviously the ones who moves to the newer platforms obviously fascinated by the experiences. For example a windows user may feel the need for more easy access to buttons where as a Linux user will prefer to use cmd and would love to type "sudo" always. And that's why. This not surprising after all this but makes sense. So move on. The world is like that :P
