Reliance and its Kai OS

     
      This is information era.Information is valuable so does the devices carrying them.Internet is the baby of the information age,may be vice versa.And as usual where there is value there is money.So, a lot of platforms are aiming to make money by selling this information.And smart phones does that job effectively.With smart phones people think that they have become smart.Actually that may not be true always.The brain loves information flow.Till you keep on feeding them it loves to be fed.
        So does the vendors who love to sell gadgets to them.One of such player is Jio-A Reliance Enterprise aimed at providing mobile services.They literally distrupted the mobile communication field with their dirt cheap data plans.A tremendous followers were added and customers were also satisfied.A successful business,of course.But the interesting is their smartness in entering into smart phone.They introduced a smart phone looking like feature phone or feature phone with smart phone capabilities.

 Yeah.They look like basic dumb phones.But they are not.They have  
             Whatsapp,
             Facebook,
             news18,
             hotstar,
             Live TV, 
             YouTube,
             Moneycontrol,
             Google maps,
            4G and What Not?! and their app store is growing day by day.They have 512 MB ram and 4GB storage.More than enough for a minimalist right? This is pretty good product.And their marketing strategy is give your old phone in any condition and only pay 1/3 for the mobile and get the refund after 3 years.Who wont buy it?    and lets come to the its os.
                This OS,named Kai OS, almost run smoothly without a glich or hang so for a while.and often gets updates.This has been build upon linux it seems.Once in a while it hangs but 97% of the time it is a cool buddy.It is sure that Reliance is not Tech company like Google but they are able to bring it to the market which proves their potential.They call them as india's smart phones.Yeah sure it is.An OS developed for India.It is a good thing that they have released a new os.Their launch may not be flashy like android .Because that is not their business.So they might not want to show spot light about  it,but it is good.
                     So then what?...Reliance Grows.
